What is ZEOLITE and CLINOPTYLOLITE? How does it occur?
Zeolite is a mineral group. Considered as “industrial raw materials”. There are over 40 natural minerals known as Zeolite. The most important of these are Clinoptilolite, Chabazit and Analsim. There are also more than 150 synthetic minerals. Zeolites form as a result of volcanic ash exchange in the water environment. Clinoptilolite, also known as “clino” in short, is one of the most prevalent reserves of natural zeolites in the world with the best technological properties.
Where is Klino used?
It can be used in many industries due to the characteristics of Clino. For example,
– Soil regulator – fertilizer additive and
– Feed additive materials,
– Purification of wastewater,
– Gas treatment,
– Animal litter,
– Garbage storage areas,
– As pesticide, plastic and paper filler,
– In the construction industry etc. Nearly 100 are used in the area.
New recognition has started in our country. There are widespread uses in the world, especially in the US, Japan, Cuba, China and Australia. In recent years, NASA has tested clones for planting in space and reported it as the most important material for planting soilless plants.
